Cozy Crafters uses purchase information to process and fulfill rank orders, keep transaction records, handle support, and protect the store from fraud or payment abuse.
1. Information connected to store purchases
Depending on the transaction and its status, Cozy Crafters may handle:
- the Minecraft Java username entered for rank delivery;
- the purchased rank or package;
- the purchase amount and currency where applicable;
- Stripe transaction, Checkout Session, or PaymentIntent identifiers;
- order and fulfillment status;
- refund or dispute information where applicable;
- contact information and message details if a customer contacts support; and
- technical information normally generated by website, server, and security infrastructure, such as request metadata, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs where applicable.
2. Why the information is used
Information is used as reasonably necessary to:
- start, process, and fulfill purchases;
- deliver Supporter or Patron ranks to the intended Minecraft account;
- maintain transaction and fulfillment records;
- prevent or investigate fraud, payment abuse, and security incidents;
- respond to support, delivery, and username-correction requests;
- process or refer to refunds and disputes; and
- meet applicable legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.
3. Stripe payment processing
Stripe is the payment processor for the store. After Cozy Crafters starts checkout, the customer is sent to Stripe Checkout to enter payment details.
Cozy Crafters does not receive or store customers’ full payment-card numbers through this checkout flow. Stripe handles payment information under its own practices. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy for details about Stripe’s collection and use of information.
4. Cloudflare infrastructure
Cloudflare provides infrastructure used by the store backend, including Worker and D1 database services. That infrastructure supports checkout requests, purchase records, payment confirmation, and rank-fulfillment status. Cloudflare may process technical and service data as an infrastructure provider under its own privacy terms.
See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for more information.
5. Website preferences, cookies, and third-party resources
The main Cozy Crafters pages save a day/night theme preference in the browser’s local storage. This preference is used to remember the selected appearance rather than to track a customer. The store pages do not currently include advertising trackers or analytics scripts and do not set an analytics or advertising cookie.
The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. Some optional site tools also load software libraries from cdnjs, save tool settings in local storage, or request public Minecraft skin assets from Minotar when a username is supplied. Following a Discord link takes the visitor to Discord, which operates under its own privacy practices.
Third-party providers may receive technical request information such as an IP address and browser details when their resources or services are used. Their handling of that information is governed by their own policies.
6. When information may be shared
Purchase and technical information may be processed by service providers such as Stripe and Cloudflare where needed to operate the store. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud or abuse, resolve a payment dispute, protect the service or its users, or comply with a valid legal obligation.
7. Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for purchase fulfillment, transaction records, customer support, fraud or dispute handling, security, and applicable legal or accounting obligations. The appropriate period can vary with the type of record and the reason it is kept.
8. Access, correction, and privacy questions
Customers may email support@cozycrafters.net to ask what personal information Cozy Crafters holds about them, request correction where appropriate, or raise a privacy question or concern. Cozy Crafters may need reasonable information to verify the requester and locate the relevant records.
Personal information is handled subject to applicable privacy law. This policy does not make an absolute legal-compliance guarantee or limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
